RT 1-360 1970 Chrome Fork Covers was created by Cooky

HelloCould any members please advise on how to remove the chrome covers on the fork legs, I assume these stop the fork tubes being removed even after removing the bolts from the bottom of the fork leg

Thanks Paul

I wrapped mine with a couple of turns of some old inner tube then held with a Black and Decker Workmate as it has wooden vee jaws, then unscrewed the cap by rotating the fork leg.
It’s a fine right hand thread.
I think Simon (Mauser) might have been thinking of the over caps on the later RT models.
