Hello everyone. I have another question as I try to sort this bike out!! Can someone tell me what the sprockets (number of teeth) should be on a 1971 RT1 360? Thanks in advance.

The Tech Library here has factory manuals with specs for most models...
Yamaha specs are not always 100% correct... so sometimes pays to check a few sources.
Looks like they show the sprockets as 39/15 in the Factory Service and Owner's Manual

Thanks, Mark. Mine has 45/15 on it. Guess that's why the top end speed is only about 60 MPH!!

My RT2 has a sprocket the size of a garbage can lid... 56 teeth.. I doubt the the one on the tranny has been changed... 45 MPH @ 5500 RPM.. 1rst gear barely gets it up to 5 mph...
