You might check with DEET who has the o-rings in nitrile which is far more stable with ethanol in the fuel. Critical piece if you want the bike to run.

I have even shot a small bit of fuel or starting fluid into the plug hole then cranked which will do two things:
1. It will verify that you have spark and compression if it fires and,
2. If it does fire, often that bit of vacuum to the carb will start the fuel to pull through and make it run. It doesn't always work, but it has for me.

Also if the pilot has fuel pooling, it or the passageway below it may be blocked. The pilot orifice is tiny and it doesn't take much to stop it up - even dried fuel varnish will do it. When you cleaned it did you run a small wire through the jet? and blow air through the passageway?

Good luck.
IF it isn't one thing, it's another.

I ordered OEM pilot jet and O-ring. The floats do slide up and down very freely so that is good news. I haven't checked the choke but I will. I will get the new parts on there and try again when they show up. Thanks, everyone for the help so far.

Well, I put the new pilot jet and everything in. The old one looked a little mangled on top so I thought that might be the issue. Put the carb back on and still didn't start. I sprayed some gas in the cylinder and that didn't work either but there was some more backpressure. Going to buy a new spark plug now as I think the spark may be weak. When I tried starting it there was no indication of it trying to start. Hopefully this new plug works.

Because so many times for me it ended up being a plug issue, I start every single time of diagnosing an engine issue by putting a fresh spark plug in first.

Well.... I feel pretty dumb now. Seems as though it was the spark plug all along. She started up about 3 kicks after replacement. There was some exhaust smoke coming out right where the exhaust goes into the engine so I found my new thing to work on.

That dumb feeling is exactly what taught me to always suspect the plug first. It took me a couple of times to realize this before it finally sunk in.
