DT250 engine year ID? was created by Zeph

Hey guys, I have an old DT250, the engine is stamped DT1F-29468, trying to find the correct year, as I'd like to rebuild the crankshaft/conn rod when I tear into it next time, and it appears the early ones had a 24mm pin of the crank and the others have a 25mm, and the conn rod is a bit different. I don't have it torn down yet, so I can't measure it. It's currently running, but I know it has the smallest amount of vertical play in the rod. Thanks so much

I Think that is a 1971 DT1E. It should be a Piston port, not a Reed valve engine.
