1972 LT2 Right Hand Crank Seal was created by Stanley

I'm replacing the right hand crank seal on my Lt2. The existing seal has a lip on each side and the replacement seal only has one lip. I'm trying to figure out if the replacement seal is correct and possibly the existing seal is the wrong one and if the single lip seal installs with the lip facing the bearing. Thanks for the help

Hi Stanley.
The genuine Yamaha seals on my CT3 are double lipped and i'm sure that MarkT has said in one of his posts about the double lip before.
Is the replacement seal a genuine part or not?
You can get double lip seals from bearing suppliers . SKF and Gates do them as i have those too.

Thanks for the quick reply. I bought these seals off of ebay, looks like they were recently made and not genuine. The listing says they fit the LT2 I guess I should have asked here first :(
