I got 2 DT400c 2 years ago and one was running and the other not. Here nor there the one that was running I have been using as my rider for 2 years now. It always had a slipping clutch when cold but after it warmed up it worked fine. I figured it had rusted plates or maybe burn't plates. So last nite I took it apart and it turns out one of the clutch spring towers was broken off the inner clutch boss. I had several so I replaced it and now it works fine hot or cold. In my searching though I found that the clutch cable boss is broke off the bottom of the engine case. The guy had made a bracket to hold the cable and attached it to the case bolts under the sprocket. It seems to work fine, but i was wondering if there is a product other than new cases out there to fix this Doug
