Where to buy seemingly discontinued parts? was created by TastyChevelle

Hello,

I am in need of a few parts for my 1980 Gt80, however it looks like they are discontinued from every OEM parts website (like Rocky Mtn ATV) and I can't find on Ebay.

Have you found any other reliable sources to have stuff most places don't?

Or I suppose if anyone here happens to have an extra air screw and spring for a GT80 carb I would love to take it off your hands.

Thanks

Maybe someone that has one for ya.
Or has a Zetter program that can cross reference that part.

So you must have a GT80G model, GT80E and GT80F air screw and springs are still available, darn.
Thanks Mark

Speed and Sport has a lot of parts that the other sites don't have.

I will usually look = sticker shock usually kicks in and I start looking harder elsewhere.
Sometimes you will find the part you want listed incorrectly or grouped with other things on ebay.
If your like me you then start looking for a parts bike that turns into a 3 or 4 bike purchase ; )

Really? I'm surprised those years are that different carburetor-wise. Maybe I should order on up and see if its the same part with a different part number for some reason...

I found this at my local Yamaha shop, it shows the air screw available, but it may not be the carb you have.

Shoot, looks like that callout 17 is still not available. Thanks for looking though!

I'm wondering if I should just be getting a new full carb anyways, but that still brings me back to square one because when you search the part number nothing reliable comes up at least used on ebay. The carb is severely pitted out on the inside.
