Clean the old spoke nipples up on a wire wheel. If not badly rusted, will look pretty good,

Steel wool can do wonders on restoration work. It's tedious to do spokes but they come out nice for the cost of elbow grease.

Yea was thinking of that but was worried about them just rusting. Guess I could put some form of clear coat on em.
