CT3 carb issue was created by Dave G

Hi not sure if anyone can help.
I've got a 73 CT3 175 and seem to have a continuing problem with the throttle sticking. Although it isn't the throttle cable because I have been through this numerous times and have put new cables on and the slide shuts down perfectly.
It now won't rev of the bottom and the throttle is sticking intermittently.
I've had the carb apart numerous times too but all looks ok.
Any thoughts please - it's doing my head in!
Thanks guys.

Wrong (too thick) of a mounting o-ring or an overtightened or warped flange causes slide to stick.

The carb on my RT1 1 was sticking when I put it back on the bike, but off the bike it was fine.
It turned out to be the slide sticking when I tightened the nuts holding it to the cylinder.
I didn't think they were that tight but it was enough to flex the carb and cause the slide to stick.
I backed them off and tightened them to the minimum I was happy it would seal and it's been fine since.
