Throttle Cable Replacement Kit was created by Cruiser84

Curious if anyone has had any experience with HVCcycle's throttle cable replacement kit?

The one on my 1969 DT1B is in good condition, but is not as tight as I would like. I have adjusted the screws and they are holding on with their last teeth.

I hoping to achieve a more even throttle response and snap back, as well as doing away with a few minor bends in the old cable.

Although there isn't a kit for my model year, would the specs on this one work?

+1 on KDI.
KDI reproduction cables are grey like OEM. They also have the oil pump & lower throttle cable.
Thanks

I have the one pictured from HVCycle on my DT360. It seems of good quality and is a faithful repro of the original split throttle + autolube cable. I'm still tuning the bike so haven't given it a thorough test yet, but so far so good. If I had one of the older bikes I'd probably have gone with KDI.

+1 on the KDI cable. At some point you will regret installing a cable with a black housing. It happened to me.

Once again, this site comes through. Thanks for the info on the KDI products and the +1's on it. Dave over at KDI also sells the cable connector for $10.95. Will post pics upon arrival and installation.
