Fist things first I don’t have a kick starter so I have to bump start it . When it fires up it feels like the throttle sticks open but doesn’t stay running for long. And trying to shift into neutral is very hard .
I’ve cleaned the carburetor.

Need a bit more info if possible. Probably lucky it didn't run away without you if throttle stuck open. Is there a chance the throttle slide is in half a turn out--or not even half turn, but has missed the guiding peg so its on about half throttle or more. Before you go pushing again just make sure the slide is going all the way down. Carb clean out would be a good plan. Be careful that the slide needle locates into the needle jet or it'll be trying to hold the slide from going down too.

Good advice.
When changing my coil, the first time I threw the tank back on, the cable (slide) came in contact with other surfaces and caused the throttle to stick.
