Help with engine numbers. was created by old926

Trying to ID an engine : Engine #138-001763 125cc . It is in a 1978 YZ125E frame Don't think it's the original motor. Can anyone help me ID this. ? Thanks !!!

Neither of my lists show 138. Could you post some photos of it and the number? Is anything stamped on the carb, on a surface facing the engine, or maybe something stamped near the base of the barrel/cylinder?

Also, what part of the world are you located in?
