Thanks to Mako was created by yamahahaha

I'm not sure how to go about wording this thread. I thought it would be nice to show our appreciation to MAKO for making this the BEST forum out there. Also a huge thanks to all the forum members who educate us and help us all. If you have been on the forum for any length of time you know who they are.
Having said that I know alot of people are going thru tough times now. I would like to ask everyone who reads this to DONATE $$$ whatever you can to show your thanks. If everyone just donated a $1.00 I'm sure Mako would be so grateful.
Look at it as " PAYING IT FORWARD "
I hope I don't offend anyone in any way.
Again thanks to everyone who keeps the wheels turning and

STAY SAFE

edit Oh ya Happy Easter

There was a T-shirt fund raiser back in November that I missed out on. Proceeds went to the site as far as I know. I just read 4oaks had an agreement with Yamaha on a 1 time only deal. Not sure what that meant? I sure would like one of those shirts! Any way another one of those agreements could be made? WE WANT SHIRTS ; )

Nice thread. I’d also like to say thanks.

This is the only forum I’m registered on. Well run site with amazingly knowledge and friendly member base.

I just chipped in $10 the coffers and would encourage anyone with a little spare change to do the same.

Thanks for running and maintaining such an incredible site

Thanks to all for the site support. It makes the effort well worth it in my estimation :)

A couple of things - if you have just donated and your site badge hasn't updated to reflect a "site supporter" it is a manual operation and I will get on it shortly. I want to make sure credit goes where credit is due!

Second - the T-shirt fundraiser was a one time deal and worked out independently by a member with Yamaha. Whether we can get an OK to do another remains to be seen. I also have to go through, and at his request, put him down to a normal site supporter (instead of a Big Arse Supporter) and add supporter badges to all who bought shirts. That is also a project in process.

I have had some health stuff going on the past month (Nothing Bad and I'll update with a post soon) so I haven't spent as much time behind the scenes, or even on the site as I normally do and need to do. That will be getting address shortly.,

Also, I have to assume the COVID crisis has pushed more folks online to spend their time, and our site membership has been growing exponentially. Maybe a small silver lining.

Again, thanks for all the support. The site is what it is because of a really amazing group of members who don't require a lot of moderation, don't spend a lot of drama stirring the pot, and just seem to enjoy the sport. Thats were the big thanks belong!
