I rode my CT1 hard for a few hours on some trails with my family... came back and ate dinner then went to go ride it for one last time. Tried starting it and took a while then would idle and die.. I noticed an unusual amount of smoke coming out of the exhaust and black splooge spitting out where exhaust pipe meets the head. Took it home and both spark plugs are covered in black splooge. took off exhaust pipe and about 3 cups of black splooge was sitting in the exhaust pipe. I am thinking that something is up with the Yamalube system. I cleaned off spark plugs and tried it again and will start then putter out with a bunch of smoke. Any ideas?

Follow the manual to adjust the throttle cables and adjust the pump. If you are still not satisfied, then contact DEET for a rebuild. I send all my pumps his way. He adjusts them to your bike after a complete rebuild, and they come back ready to bolt on, bleed, and ride away happy.

On the face of it--it sounds like the Right side crank seal has escaped the case. But very unlikely if you rode it home & was going ok. Won't be the oil pump unless you left it sitting for a year & it slowly [very slowly] emptied the oil tank into the crankcase.
Just check the trans oil level assuming it was ok at the start. Not too difficult to pull the right side cover to check the seal as they 'Do' blow out especially if very old & will blow out at the slightest provocation. Black splooge from the exhaust though sounds like you're going to need to throw the complete pipe in the nearest bonfire or it'll smoke till xmas time.

Just to confirm, throw it on the bonfire to burn out the "splooge", not just to scrap it!:EEEK

Had to practice what i preached today. TF100 tail pipe muffler is blocked, it's in the logfire for the night & burning well. Probably stinking the neighbors out. Now i'll have to come up with a plan to burn the main exhaust out. When the fires has cooled tomorrow i might take the damper plates out & see if it'll fit up the chimney. Don't think it'll fit though.
