Carburetor float caps? was created by Enduro nut

Hey everyone im currently working on my 1974 DT250 when i noticed that the "caps" that holds the floats on are missing. My question is by not having these would it affect the running of the bike? i cant seem to find any information on these little buggers!

-Thank you

Pretty sure that I read on this forum that they don't affect the running. Just remember not to turn the chamber upside down if it's off the carb!

Others will confirm.

New Mikuni's with that type of float don't even come with the caps anymore.

You'll be fine without them.
