Do you have one?

Possibly bought overseas (Japan?) by a serviceman and brought back home. If Japan, it might have a large red speed warning light in the headlight/dash area.

Or someone might have re-sprayed it.

no its the original color i can tell it looks just like that 1 on craigs list that guy posted. has label on frame but to worn off to read anymore

Those 2 pictures of the DT250 in the above posts are not the same bike, I have seen what I believe to be an original light blue paint DT250 although I can’t remember if it was a 74 or 75 I’m leaning towards it was a 74. They were not sent to the USA market in blue, but as stated above only in Virginia gold for the USA market in 1974.
