Lots of manuals (parts, service, owners) in the Tech Library which are free to download - see the tool bar above.

Regarding the headlight in particular, 1) it is likely to be sealed beam and 2) if not already done by a previous owner, it would be wise to fit a 6v voltage regulator (I have attached a link below to Yamaha's own Service Bulletin in this regard). Mind you, some forum members have simply installed a 12v headlight bulb instead and apparently works fine!
