I don't think this goes to my 74 DT360 but not sure what else it could be to. Definitely an exhaust part. It is 2 inches high and 1 inch in diameter.

Might be Suzuki DR370, Kawasaki KLX300R, Beemer scooter....? Maybe I should just pitch it, but then a day later I'd need it.

Well it doesn't go on top of the fork spring like i thought it did at first glance. Spot welds & tapered slightly makes me think exhaust but doubt DT360A. I give up, just don't scrap it lol.

The smart ass answer would be Bob, but I like "springy exhaust thingy." I would have guessed top spacer
on a 34mm fork, but clearly that has already been rejected.

I think that's a 1 inch diameter x 2 inch long split spring tension roll pin.
You won't find that one at Home Depot.
