Good day, need advise , i have light on my test light on both green and black , but no spark on the plug, my key is on , what my next steep?

Pull the generator cover off and see if you get a spark at the points .
No Spark?
Then the next step would be to down load the correct manual from the TECH section on the title bar of the forum header, for your motorcycle and follow the test procedures .
There's also several Vlogs on the internet showing the testing of ignition items on you tube. They test points and condenser, ignition timing,field winding's on the source coil and testing the HT & LT sides of the coil
That should point you in the right direction chief .

I spin the engine whit à drill ,i have power at the entry to the coil, but nothing after the coil to the Spark plug.this make me think my coil is cook. This bike was nut running when i got It.i change the point plate condenser from a identical bike,put back the flywheel magneto.
Just not shure if is the coil for sure.my service manual is for a dt1 my bike is a 1972 250 my serial numéro start whit dt1fxxxxxx whitch manual should i use? Thank.

It should give you a test to do on the coil with a multimeter
