Why not just buy a silencer from Jemco? $149 plus shipping and tax

Interesting point. But this man is an artist; he prefers to create. A lot of people buy a CD when they want a Beethoven Symphony; all my life I've preferred to sit on stage and create the performance burned on the CD. I get where he's coming from.

Nice job with the silencer and documenting the process. Looks good!

Some people just like to make things, and be proud to say "i made it". That's enough satisfaction for me usually.

Yes, Mitch, i could do, but i want to keep original look. First for myself. Secondly for passing Police controls. In Germany, if you do any modification on your vehicle, it has to be checked by appraiser. After appraisal, they list the modification in the papers of you vehicle. In case you go without, your bike is not street legal, so police collects your bike and you can walk home. Beside this, you have to pay a big penalty. Even worse, if you will be caught 2nd time with same modification. Of course there are very little mods, which get an appraisal. Everything, that make fun, will not pass ...:S

Inner tube arrived, so i could go on, yesterday. I decided to install the inner tube removable in the end-cap, so i can fit in washers, to reduce inner diameter, in case a need some back-pressure for better performance.

End-cap bored and welded on. Not easy to weld, but the stock welding isn´t perfect, too.
The inside pipe is cut to lenght and fitted to the diameter of the inlet .
Just heard in the news, Germany will be in lock down starting Wednesday till January 10th. Only Supermarkets, Home Depot and Pharmacys will stay open :S Good to be busy with a project
