Thanks for all of the help. Maybe someone put a different harness on the bike. Funny how everything works. Maybe I should just leave it alone.

In June of 2017 I responded to a craigslist ad for an original, unrestored '73 LT3-100 with a clear title that was 75 miles from me. Asking price was $2,400.00. It was very nice, complete and everything worked. After loading it in my truck I walked around behind a trailer that was in his driveway, the ramp was down and I saw a stunning RT3 inside. I asked if I could take a closer look and he said go ahead. I noticed the decomp lever was mounted on top of the clutch perch. After a few questions about where it came from I asked if this was the bike that was discussed on this forum restored by SKYDANCER46. He said yes. I asked him if he would consider selling it. He said no, never, it was his favorite possession. I told him if he ever changed his mind please give me first chance. He said it won't happen. 10 days later he calls me and asked if I was still interested. He wanted $6,000.00. I was there the next morning with a wad of $100 bills. I knew it had way more than that in it plus a lot of time spent.

A CT harness would theoretically work...  but dimensions and component locations like flasher and rectifier are in different places.  CT has a smaller frame too so might be a little short in places too.  But most switches, etc should plug in the same I think.

Skydancer, the only thing I see you didn't sell with the bike is the yard?
