My bike is ass backwards. Red and white wires under the batter box. Brown and brown/white near the ignition coil.

Maybe you don't have an RT3 harness

Anything is possible but it does have the wires for the flasher and the rectifier. Weird. As log as it works I'm okay with it. It's a rider, not a museum piece.

There might still be a part number tag on the harness someplace... usually on the main section under the tank back to the battery someplace if I remember correctly.
I think the CT had the rectifier back at the battery box but my memory isn't always that good.

Here's a photo of a new harness from the CMSNL website, in case you want to use it for reference.

"Is that a pic of a CT harness?"
I believe so - CT2/3 and it matched one I bought from the US to refurb a while back.

Yes Mark the CTs have the rectifier at the battery box and the flasher relay under the tank.

I agree with SKYDANCER46 that it was a special restoration. I ended up with it. Here it is in front of 2 of my others.
Bill,
I bought that RT3 in 2007, finished it in 2009. It's $7500.00 special. That's what it cost me to restore it, even back then! I called it the "NOS bike". I bought so many nos parts for that bike that it got out of hand. LoL! The complete top in was NOS including the NEW cylinder, piston & rings, rod kit etc etc... Other hard to get items like the speedo and tach, steering damper were NOS. It was also the 1st time (and last time) i had a carburetor powder coated! My good friend was able to do it. Made all the special plugs and seals. It was time consuming and expensive!
I personally did ALL the graphics on the bike and also did all the wet sanding before final clear. Talk about a lot of work. Had to be extra careful not to sand to deep and go thru the color. I did 2 sets of RT3 body parts and put the best on the bike and sold the other body kit on e-bay.
In the 1st picture there is something on the bike which I ended up NOT using and changed it out before selling. Can you see what it is?
Here are a few pictures when it was completed back in 2009-2010.
ps, not sure why the pictures are a little blurry because there crystal clear on my computer before uploading??
