Thanks Apex, and the anode is steel rod of some sort? Im going to be doing this soon, I'll be using a 12v power supply, I'll have to figure out the amp draw.
Thanks Mark

It is steel rod, the kind that comes in loops, meant for fences I think, it's soft and easy to bend to shape using needlenose pliers. I used to run using my 12V charger at the 2 amp, and found that running at the 15 amp setting sped things up and didn't notice any other ill effects. Do need to isolate the anode properly at 15 amps, if it touches the tank when hot it welds itself a little bit :EEEK

I'm getting more ambitious than I thought at this point with the AT2. But, working from my kitchen table, and not spending 3-5 hours of commute time every weekday has allowed me to stretch a little. Today, prepped the tank, ears and bucket, made a "point booth" of sorts, and sprayed the primer!

I am out of mother trucking control. Things are happening that I said I would NEVER do! I hate painting, and worse I HATE sanding!!! Commitment is funny, this weird time we are in is funny. Some self-control, patience, reading, planning...it all works out.
Base coat on.

Did some reading, and the Spraymax paint is good to go once it's flashed off for clear. So.....

And the final result after 5 coats of Spraymax 2K:

I'm in awe of what can be done!! Completely humbled, I had no idea this result was possible. The finish on all pieces is simply beyond belief!
