If anybody is curious my polishing process it is probably a little bit different than others. I start off with a wet dry 400 grit sandpaper and WD-40. Small amount of oil.

After that I wipe it dry and go over it with wet dry 1500 grit sandpaper and mother's aluminum polish. I just dip the corner of the sandpaper into the material and I go over it a second time.

Then, I normally I get out the polishing wheel of which I bought at Harbor Freight first using the black and then the white compound. After it's looking pretty good I will take my finger and I will dab just a little bit of mothers on the general working area and do a finish. Some of the hard-to-reach areas need to be done again and detailed out.

Do not attempt to adjust your television set. The pictures are dark. A few days until the next update are expected.

Took a week off of polishing. Today, I will finish the cases, clean the skid plate and get her back together this coming week. I have not ordered the fuel tank badges yet.

Brandy, is nearly all buttoned up. After the large side case tried to slip out of my hand I decided that - that was enough polishing. That was a corporate decision made instantaneously.

There were a few mechanical things that needed to be checked, double checked and fixed. Nothing a novice like myself cannot handle.

Now to start a yama-riot.

I'm going to be buying some oil.

What type should I buy? lol..

I will probably go to Van Nuys Suzuki.

I will not know for sure until I get it out into the bright sunlight. Was not happy after two times of color sanding still had some low spots that needed to be removed. 800 grit - 1500 grit - 2000 grit rubbing compound again, polishing and several coats of wax. Now, I'm absolutely certain why these guys get so much money to paint these fuel tanks.

Oil in the crankcase. Missing a couple of very long Allen bolts in the 55 to 70 mm range. It looks really good. A tremendous amount of work but you got to do what you gotta do.

This year;

January to June really came fast. January, I worked on the 125 Dorthea. Never even put fuel in or purchased a new battery.

Brandy, is now finished. I figure close to 40 hours total - 25 on the fuel tank alone. I ordered the tank badges from Australia, they will be here in 3 weeks, perhaps.

Monica, will be started up and put on the rack and I will change out the right side clutch cover that has been damaged by a rock. Pretty simple procedure. Should only take another 3 weeks - laugh out loud ...

The fuel tank badges from Australia really didn't take that long to get here. It said June 18 and arrived yesterday on the first.

The bike really looks good and I'm quite pleased.

Upcoming for sale.

Note: shutting down both storage units and returning leased car. Save $1000.00 a month. It’s not a fire sale. This will be a nice bike. Good looking. Reliable.
