Rick, sounds like time well wasted to me, if I can borrow Brad's line...
Everyone needs a few of those every year...

I'm onboard for the ride. Interested to see what it takes to get it unstuck.

Thanks James and Kyle. I took the crank seals out a while back and drained the crud out , got some movement on the crank bearings, not much tho...
I decided to put the old crank seals back on and soak ( Yeah.... more soaking ! ) with the 50/50 solution of acetone and trans fluid.
Flooding the crank area hopefully.
Frame is almost ready. Now remember this bike is a rider and not a show bike. Made with stuff I had lying around here and my storage. So.. yeah, can be mis-matched like the DT2 beefy forks and triple tree. The original 69' forks needed more work than I wanted to put into them. I set them aside for now.
Still have to address the rear shocks,

Time to update on some work.
Instead of reworking the Showa's to fit in the frame, I just cleaned up an old pair of shocks I found.
Oh and YES ! I'm still soaking the cylinder and crank. what a pain this one is !!

just on the edge of the woods.

Only you, Rick, could search out a picture which answers the age old question about what a wild bear does in the woods. Or at the edge of the woods.
