Hmmmm....I didn't think this kind of shifter shaft appeared until later.

Looks like a very nice DT-1, too bad about the one mile bike perceived status. It will haunt the bike. Too many tiny details make it obviously suspect. Appreciate it for what it is, a very nice 1968 DT-1, is it a 100 point bike? nope, but it's a very cool bike.
