Hi everyone,

My name is Paul and I have a Yamaha addiction :)

I live in Canberra, Australia, I'm too close to 60 and started riding in the 70s on a Yamaha YZ80B.

I'm lucky enough to have a few Yamaha's in my garage, mainly R1's and MT's (FZ's for those in the US)

My latest money pit, (I mean project) is a 1979 GTMXF 80 for my son.

Thank you for letting me join the forum.

Cheers

Paul

Hey all, I'm Tom from the UK, I recently bought a 77 dt400 that probably hasn't run in the last 20 years. Came across this forum and thought it would be a good place to learn more about these old bikes. Here how the bike currently sits. Hoping to get up and running as quick as I can with a fresh rebuild of it

Welcome! from Salisbury, Tom - quite a few Brits here now!

Loads of free manuals available in the Tech Library (see top toolbar), the Search function works well and, of course, loads of resident experts here to help out as well!

Is yours a UK bike or a US import?
