I’m 69 years old I guess I’m lucky my son truly loves my bikes and vintage Ford’s has 2 vintage Enduros himself he’s 21yrs old I’m blessed

73+. This has been a looming issue for me as well, so appreciate the comments. I hope to get to some swap meets later this year and (hopefully!) next year to sell on the extraneous bits that have collected during repairs/renovations. One son, not particularly mechanical but who rides one in the stable ('77 XS650D).

I do try to keep paperwork for each bike, and have told the family that they should just sell on each as they can. Easier to sell a whole bike than a box of bits one knows nothing about, but easier if that box of bits is at least labeled, so I try to do that for them now. Do what I can and trust in the man upstairs for the rest.

And I really agree with tinkickers comments about the current state of affairs in the world.

Don’t worry of which - you have absolutely no control over. The parts I buy and sell - the repairs made and the inventory kept - is normally less than the property taxes I never pay. No estimate of time - can bring a value - to of which - you never knew or considered.

Shift 1 through 5. Never down shift.

There will be that time folks!
