Cylinder and piston were sent off to Bill Bune yesterday. Have a new workbench in the garage. Next step is to pull the engine and get it on the bench.

Edit: Got a call from Josh at Bill Bune yesterday. They have my cylinder and should have it done in two weeks.

Time for an update. Got the cylinder back from Bill Bune. Coated it with some oil and sealed it in a bag so that it can hibernate until it is ready to go back on the bike.

Pulled apart the intake manifold and the reed cage is really rusty. Put it in some Evaporust for 48 hours and it turned out pretty nice. The rubber on the manifold is really age cracked so I picked up some rubberized black superglue and will start filling it in this weekend. None of the cracks have gone all the way through the rubber so I'll see how long I can make this one last before having to buy a replacement.
