1972 XL250 K0 Shift Problems Question with video was created by TennesseeVol51

Video shows my problem.

I pick this bike up very cheap so it’s worth a little time to see if it’s a rider

The bike has spark and great compression

I’ve completely disassembled the Keihin carb and ultrasonic cleaned it up

and just cleaned the shift area to start figuring out what is wrong with this shifting system I have no idea but it common I think Honda has shift start problems

I’ve never owned one of these early XL’s it will make a cool pit bike etc. as always any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks from North Alabama Middle Tennessee area!
