Jsmith here is the link to the HVC Cycle cable because I know from previous posts on other topics you've made that you might not have even looked at it or feel it should be cheaper or something.

hvccycle.net/yamaha-dt250-dt360-dt400-th...-cable-437-26311-02/

Cables are not "rocket science" and easy to build as well, especially if you only need a piece or two.  But that seems to be a lost art.  Flanders, Motion Pro or others have parts...  some of the fittings like the oil pump elbow into the case would have to be reused from your old cable.

And as I've said, there are shops that will build you a new one if you supply them the old cable.

Good luck and thanks for not starting 42 different new topics for this same question this time.

Just got off the phone with a Yamaha dealer. I am in need of a throttle cable that goes from the splitter to the cab on a 74 DT360.He was able to give me 3 part numbers but they are listed by number. I was not able to give me the one I needed because he did not have a diagram. If anyone has a good drawing please let  me know...thanks

A while back, I posted the dimensions of a DT 360 cable. I also have an HVC Cable. The lengths are the same for the cable housing and while I did not actually measure the internal cable, they looked the same.

DT360 CABLE that I believe to be OEM.

Two of your three part numbers are identical , and they are both for a DT 400 B/C .
The numbers you need for your 360 are 437-26311-01 ( throttle to splitter )  and
438-26312-01 ( splitter to carb & pump ) .
They may supercede to the 400 numbers , I haven't checked .

JSmith,  I combined your brand new thread about the cable with the same exact topic here.

I just spoke with Motion Pro about getting my lower throttle cable replaced  for my DT360. Wow, sticker shock. 19" cable will be $180. Does anyone know of a different vendor for this? thanks

I bought the complete throttle cable from HVC for 65 dollars. I have been using it for a couple of years on my Dt 360 with no problems.

JSMITH, please post the cable end pic and the top and bottom of the chamber/slide cap on the carb where the cable was attached. Should have been a C-Clip holding the 45" tube in.
