New parking spot was created by Hardworker

I restored this 1970 RT1 a couple years ago-- paint, spokes, gauge and electrical restoration--the works.  I rode it 25 miles then parked it.  As I have gotten older, I can't take the RT1 kick starting fight, so I cleaned it up to sell it.  My wife walked by it in the driveway and said, "that bike is beautiful, don't sell it.  In fact, it would look good inside the house".  Let's see what happens when she comes home tomorrow. She should know me by now.  (This post was to have photos of the bike in the house, but they won't post).

Love your thinking.  And I think I may possibly love your missus as well.  Such partners are hard to find.  Much respect to her.

My "display" case.  Sanctioned by my missus.  I am a lucky man.  Of course I only found such a glorious manifestation of womanhood by much experimentation and trial and error.  The error still makes my blood run cold..

But diamonds are still out there...

Living room display case...

For photos, you need to use a third party host such as Imgur.

And this, in my opinion, is what the 'dining' part of a kitchen/diner is best used for!

My wife has yet to say no to any aspect of my Yamahobby. But I think she would take a firm stand against parking one of my bikes in front of her china cabinet. But I’ve never asked….

Start high with your parking/work area suggestion (say in the bedroom or lounge), then compromise on the kitchen!

Gr8uncleal, depending on your wife's cooking, maybe a bike in the kitchen is the thing you shouldn't compromise on.

I haven't parked a bike in the cooking area yet, although I did have a few boxes of parts on the floor in that area for a while!

One of the kitchen work surfaces doubles as my area for photos for fleabay listings, and her kitchen scales are very handy for weighing said listings for postage purposes!

Her knitting needles, tepes (tiny teeth brushes) and dye syringes have all proved useful for work on the bikes at one time or another. Bless 'er, she's so lucky!

Update:
Wife just returned home from Encinitas. She walked in, saw the bike, and said she likes it there.
You know what that means-- more room in the garage for another project bike
