Buddy Seat Identification was created by Lizeec

I have this buddy seat listed for sale on here as well as on eBay, I was told it will fit a 1970-1973 DT250/RT360 I am not familiar with those year models, can the experts on here confirm this to be correct or not.

You might not be familiar with those models because they don't exist?

Just being a smart ass... :haha

Before 1974 the 250 models were the DT1, DT2, and DT3. The 360 models were the RT1, RT2, and RT3.

First DT250 was in 1974 and there never was an RT360 model... just the 74 DT360.

Hopefully one of the experts can identify what you have... I'm sure measurements would be helpful as I can't tell the common AT/CT rack from the larger bike ones most of the time.

What does that sticker on the underside show? Also, what are the dimensions from centre hole to centre hole, both down and across?

It looks very much like the one on my 1972 RT2, but dimensions will confirm.

I think the buddy seat you have is for 1970-73 DT1,2,3 and RT1,2,3 models. Note the small loop on the side for the mounting bolt.

For reference here is a picture of one for 74-76 DT250-400 models. Note the larger side loop for the mounting bolt.

And here is a picture of a buddy seat for a 74-75 DT175:

Thank You for the replies, good catch Gr8uncleal the paper sticker on the bottom is barely legible, I think it says
DT250/RT1 360 then below the numbers the word “luggage”
I included some pictures with measurements in inches.

Measurements appear to tie up with the one on my RT2.

Photos of the sticker on mine are attached - the same as yours?

Is this seat still available and where are you if it is? I need it for my RT3. Thanks, Dan.
