Does anyone know of a source for glass fuse terminals, crimp type. was created by Gr8uncleal
Maybe one for DEET?
I'm in the process of repairing the main harness for my UK 1978 RD250. The fuse box is incorporated into the main harness and some of the brass terminals that the ends of the glass fuses sit in are missing. Photos of what I am on about are attached.
Does anyone know a source for these items? Vintage Connections do a single fuse holder which incorporates two that I could use, but I would then have to ditch the outer cover, which seems a waste. I am waiting for a reply from Vintage Connections as to whether they sell the terminals loose.
I am after replies along the lines of "yes, XYZ sells them" rather than "have you tried...?".
Many thanks.

I haven't found anyone who sells just the terminal.

Thanks DEET.
It seems strange to me that all other terminals are sold loose in packs, but not these - clearly someone, somewhere is manufacturing them to go in the aftermarket fuse boxes/holders.

There are suppliers but they likely cater to industry as you've said... so they probably come in packs of many thousands... there isn't much of a market for someone need a 5 pack. Especially since often if a fuse clip goes bad it melts the box rendering the assembly unusable... and also since complete aftermarket and "reproduction" fuse boxes are available for many bikes.
Here's something similar you might get them to send you a few samples?

Al . You were chasing these some time back too .
It was of interest to me too , as I have had similar problems with an RD 400 too .
You had the Yamaha p/n 1NL-W8215-00 , which was for a strip of five terminals .
I was able to locate one strip from a parts dealer here in New Zealand , but at the time
there was at least one strip for sale on Ebay , out of US . i know postage is expensive ,
but at least it was available .

You can possibly try these vendors, I have used them in the past for automotive wire needs. They pretty much have everything.

Thanks for reminding me Swoop!

That's the problem with messing about with seven projects at once - you forget what questions you've already asked!

Update.
Looks like Sparckmoto (sister/parent company of Vintage Connections) supply them
- 10 for $2.49 or 25 for $4.99. Postage is less than from mainland Europe as well.
I have placed an order for 50, so if any Brits need any, then let me know.
