Been meaning to let you and Gr8uncleal know, I finally fitted my red lenses (which Alan supplied) onto my RT1, they do look good

You will need 4 uncropped, in focus photos with the bike fully in, wheels and all One each of the Chassis and engine number. One of either side of the bike .
They will, if the mood takes them, knock your application back when presented to DVLA by anyone . Been there and it's a bit pathetic .
Write the chassis and engine number down in the message as well so there's no mistakes. That advice came from Richard too.

Pete you might get a tug off the Dibble in regards to your red rear indicators. Red indicator lenses became illegal in the UK after the 1st of April 1986. Sub paragraph b Colour .Vehicles up to the first of September 1965 can have red or amber on the rear. After that amber.
Enforceable 1st of April 1986.

I do love my RT1 Dave and I love that with the help of this forum I got to chat with it's original owner.
I wonder how many RT1 there are in the country.

Anyway back to the green one, the dating certificate arrived today from Paul at the Aircooled RD Club, super fast turnaround.
Will send of V55/5 tomorrow.
