Yamaha dt360 carburetor was created by AndyG123

Hello, I'm new here. I have a 1974 yamaha DT360 that I got about a month back. It's been a great project, but the carburetor is gone. I have put a new top and bottom end on the bike and would like to ride it soon. Does anyone know of/have a good option that will work for the stock air intake boot?

There's this one on eBay. There are also new Chinese carbs all over the place, and they "will" work but you typically can't do any jetting tuning as the physical size of where the jets screw in is different as well as the thread pitch. You're much better off rebuilding an original Mikuni, as you can tune it to your hearts content.

You can get a brand new one from Sudco. Page 201 of their current catalog has their Mikuni VM series carbs.

Seems to me I have a similar carburetor. It needs the nozzle replaced. It's either DT 360 or DT 400.

Think the filter hose size is quite small on those so just be careful or you'll have a bit of adapting to do. Depending where you look i see on some it shows the side mounted main jet but still a "push in to the manifold" style carb. Think originals in our market "oceania" was black. I've used a Chinese carb on my 175 & is great but had to run a threading die over a Mikuni jet--or change the thread in the where it screws in, can't remember now. Not sure if i changed the pilot jet or was too different to the common mikuni jet but is a little too rich on idle, so i'll find out oneday when i get back to it. I see the earlier link with the choke lever missing, also has the plunger & associated bits missing. Is your carb totally gone--disappeared.
