Hello, I am unable to lift my left foot to shift my Enduro. I am seeking ideas on how to shift it? My thoughts were a replacement shift lever with a heel and toe lever. I have no idea what size or what might work. My second thought was welding a tab off the back of the existing lever to push with my heel. Has anyone here ever done this or know of a part # of a replacement that would achieve a heel and toe shift?

I'm assuming that moving the existing lever a couple of splines either way won't help?

I am attaching a link to an item of mine on fleabay. I am not suggesting for one moment that you buy it (for one thing, I am in the UK!), but it shows what Yamaha have produced in the past and what it was fitted to.

This is just a starting point really, as you may have to have something made, or maybe something like my listing adapted, to stop it fouling against the engine cases and footrests.

Good luck!

That is exactly what I think I am looking for. Do you know if it fits the shift shaft of a 1972 Yamaha 175 Enduro?

My "knee jerk" reaction would be yes, as a lot of those shafts are/were standard sizes. However, and assuming that I don't forget in the meantime, I'll go and measure after tea (it's teatime o'clock here in the UK! :Excited :Excited :Excited and Grauntiepat is just starting to make mine!).

Fits on to my RD350B, so I'm sticking with yes to standard sizes and therefore fitting your bike.

Funnily enough, it didn't foul anywhere either on the RD!
