Nice bike, but it needs more than a bath. It has some rust issues. But that's great that it starts right up
Are you buying, or selling?
Buying. I'd try and get it for under $1,000.
Selling. I'd put it up at $1,400.

That's simply based on my own buying experience.
I haven't tried selling one yet..........

Just wanting to see what it’s worth! There is some surface rust but nuthing that wouldn’t come I’ve with light sand paper

That's cool! I really like the 73 model years, even though I don't have one.
You might want to try something other than light sandpaper.
If you simply want to scrub it off with an abrasive, then consider using SOS pads or fine steel wool.
Actually, I have recently started using bronze wool instead of steel wool, simply to avoid the rust dust of steel wool. That bike will clean up nicely. Send pictures once it's all spiffed up.
