Before n After.. Parts taken from a 79 MX175 parts bike I have for my MX175 resto... Spray bombed ,made to fit fenders and cut the side covers out of some plastic I had laying around. Ugly? Maybe but looks better than that RT pile I started with.Lol. I had bought this bike a few yrs ago for $150 and just today got it sorted out n back together. New top end with wiseco .50 over kit. As far as running it runs pretty good but with much less power than what I had anticipated. Hmm? Anyway I think the tuning still needs some work but I dont see it getting that much more juice even then. I have some Boyesen reeds I may try but ive read that they dont really give much performance boost anyway?? Plug is chocolatey but the motor seems to be running pretty dang hot. Feel free to lol at this mess..

Been riding it around the neighbor hood since the rebuild but had a chance to take it out this past weekend to a area that has many miles of trails with different levels of difficulty. The bike did really well and was alot of fun. Was alot of people there and I did get alot of head turning with the "what is that dude riding" looks. Lol. I was just taking it easy because my son was following but the highlight of the day was when 2 dudes on new bikes came up on me and thought they were gonna just blown on by but I gunned it for about 100 yards and put a little distance between us and then pulled over to let em by. They looked surprised as they came by. Lol

Love the look of the bike. So different to how it started off.

Curious how hard it was to swap the tank and seat?
