I'm starting the build on a CT2 and a number of parts are going to need zinc plated. Any advice or recommendations on where to send this stuff? I live in Washington State but I'm okay with sending it out elsewhere.

I'd look into a home plating system, I've been using the Eastwood home dyi zinc plating kit for years. Works great.

There's a huge thread on here on DIY zinc plating... without buying a kit... using readily available stuff. Many members have had good success with it.
Scootern29 was the author if I remember right... he's an expert at it in any case.

Snap , i do all my own and have worked on my set up. I have bought both kit chemicals and ones found locally.
I have also read the thread mentioned by mdscott. Mark T is correct when he says you don't have to buy a kit.
Here's what i have found. If you don't want any messing around and want quick good quality results then farm your work out.
You have come back then because your paying for a service.
If you are of the " Have a go " nature then for ease buy a kit . If you want to save then collect the chemicals and work it out.
Both of the latter have good results. They also have there share of problems until you find what works reliably.
The cleaner everything is the better results you get.
Never leave the lids off anything or the vapour will corrode anything mild steel that they come in touch with.
You need a proper chemical mask. The vapours from the chemicals are harmful so use your brains and don't cut corners on an item like that.
The power source in most kits is crap.
I bought a used analogue one where i can control the current properly.
I like doing stuff my self.
It was an amazing feeling when i saw the results of plating stuff for my TDR 250,HT1b and CT3.
I watched the components change in front of my eyes, from rusty heaps of crap, dull clean metal to sparkling nickle plate.
Give it a go dude.
