Rt1/DT1-E Headlight was created by JOJOTUT

Just looking round for a headlight and chrome surround for my RT1 are they interchangeable with any other models as I can't find one at the moment.
Any help would be greatfull.

Following on from Mark's post, the item shown in the link below is currently on ebay.

It is the headlight that the sealed beam unit replaced (WHY?!:EEEK) and it is what I shall be using.

You will still need a rim, which should be the same item, and a different socket/cord to wire in the bulb (American Pre Focus type, I think).

Is your existing lamp and rim damaged or just absent? If absent, then you'll also need the gubbins for the beam adjustment.

Do a search on here or ebay and you will find aftermarket replacements.

I would recommend a 6v regulator to avoid blown bulbs. Alternatively, some say that 12v headlight bulbs do the same job.
