If I’m reading this right, you’re asking DEET if he can restore your magneto. I believe he would be able to but I’ll let him answer for sure. Just wanted you to know since you’re new that he’ll be along before too long to answer. You can always email him. Think it’s listed in this thread. You might post some pics of it to let him get an idea of what you need. He can knock 50 years of wear off those kinds of things. Really more because today’s wire is better. If you have funds available, I recommend a new wiring harness through him also. Plug and play and no more gremlins. Good luck. Don’t forget, pictures. We like em!

Yes. It's in pretty bad shape. All the wires are bad and corroded.
I added some new wires in hope that that would fix it. It was no use.

Can you help with converting the electrical to a 12V system. It is hard to find 6v bulbs etc. What is needed to do this?
