i need help it’s kinda embarrassing but I cannot get the rear cushion hub off.

 I removed the snap ring

the hub slides back and forth easily but the collar will not move one centimeter I don’t know what is holding it??

this wheel and bearing are in great shape it’s not weathered.

what am I missing? It’s like it’s still got a snap ring or something on it. I’ve look at the illustration parts book and in the service manual I can’t see anything I’m missing

I’ve put a light amount of heat that didn’t work and I’ve put Kroil and lightly prying on it .

I’m stumped pic link above and thanks for helping

So you can get a vision of what it looks like, here is a pic of my 360's. I had a similar issue. i want to say I used
a piece of emery cloth to polish the shaft or a dremel w/small alum oxide attachment to clean the shaft and then it gently tapped off.

Just run a hand file around to get rid of the burr.
I had a wheel off something--XT400/550 i think, which had a bearing in the sprocket carrier.
They should run that on all models in my opinion & save a lot of pain.
I have an old TT250 wheel come to think which also has a bearing in the sprocket carrier.
Some clever dude oneday will find a thin complete sealed needle roller bearing the carrier width then machine the hub & carrier to take it so problem solved--till it wears out & spits little rollers out causing grief again.

Thank you for the advice but I just don’t see what I need to do. The sprocket carrier with the bolt holes slides freely until it hits the bronze colored collar

the collar in the illustrated parts book is part number #41 and oem part number 90387-17140 and 275-25382-00

are the 2 wheel bearings mounted inside of the collar?

or is that bronze colored collar just slightly inside that wheel bearing that you see in picture?

That's good, we all have to learn. I thought I knew everything but I'm continually finding a know Nathing & still lots to learn lol. Trouble 'is'  I'm getting too old to remember so have to learn again & again. With your hub I should've said the circlip leaves a ridge rather than burr caused by the sprocket carrier pushing on it for 50 years. Main thing is--you got it off.

Video is always good to help others & that's what its all about.
So i hate to be a picky touching 80 year old--old fart--but i see someone's been previously running an internal circlip rather than the external type that you need.
The shape of the inner edge of that one only touches where it touches due to its shape. Best if you get the correct external circlip as i wouldn't want it to blow that circlip out of the groove.
The correct one is quite thick too, compared to one from a hardware shop generally.
Sorry, i don't mean to sound picky as ya doing a great job & keep up the good work.
I worked in a yamaha shop from about "62 until retirement & have seen a few dodgy thing plus i've done a few dodgy jobs on my own stuff in the name of "not spending any money" lol.
Here's a random pic from work back in the day plus a dodgy experiment we did at a hill country farmers request more for a laugh than deadly serious as could be quite deadly if you got run oner by it.

Thanks so much I really appreciate that. You are not offended me in the least. If you see something wrong that I post or as in this bike rebuild by all means let me know. I am 58 years old and I’ve always been a racer in the woods enduro and Harescrambles. I’ve been racing since the 1970’s. But I’m not the best mechanic. I know enough to get by. Honestly I never gave this circlip a thought about being an internal or external I honestly did not know that there was a difference. But now I know I will take a picture of both sides of the clip and post it here shortly. Man you guys have already made it easy for me. Thanks everyone again
