That carb kit is a Keyster kit .
I googled the part number , and it came up on the Niche website .
It listed the parts included , and the needle was listed as a Keyster type number .
I'm certain the jets won't be Mikuni jets .

Whats with the keyster being frowned on. A jet is only a brass bit with a hole in it. I must be missing something, plus i'm winding you guys up lol. But if the hole is the same, where's the issue. Can a longer hole through the jet meter it different even is the hole is the same diameter. Umm--just asking.

Thank you all for your input. I have learned more in the last few days than I ever did before. have a friend who picked up a Husqvarna at Davenport a year ago. Didn't know they made a moped! Tried to download a picture but no go. Maybe later.CheersJohn

Morley . Jet kit parts are hit and miss . The needles especially seldom bear any resemblance to the needle
they are meant to be replacing . As for pilots and mains , Mikuni jets can be relied on for consistency .
Kit jets as you say , if they have the correct sized hole would be fine , but I'd be a bit wary of their sizeings .
I personally had experience where the owner of an H2 Kwaka I was working on bought a set of pilots off
the internet . I'd bought NOS needles and needle jets for the bike  . With them all installed it would hardly run .
The kit pilots it turned out , hadn't even  had the fuel aperture drilled . Suspect little or no quality control .

Exactly. They will usually fit but often the calibration is WAY off.

A hole it never just a hole...

I was a serious mechanical engineer about 30 years ago and know that even if the diameter is the same, other factors such as bevels, chamfers, surface finish could have a material impact.  So it really depends upon how well, or not, the aftermarket provider was able to reverse engineer these features IMO

Yes the Mikuni hex main jets these bikes use have precisely machined tapers...  the jet actually flows slightly differently amounts depending on direction of flow...

The way they were designed to be installed is in the early float bowl holder...  gas flowing from threaded end to flat end.  When installed directly into the needle jet, the gas flows from flat end to the threaded end, or reverse of the original design.  According to Mikuni, the main jet actually flows slightly less in the "reverse" configuration. (not that significant obviously, still true though)
