CT and DT175 cylinders?

Hello.
I want to ask in the forum, you mentioned that the dt 125/175 uses rd 250 flaps and a 26mm carburetor.
The question is what effect will it have if I install a 26mm carburettor on a dt 125 or 175 before 1977.
With those flaps from the rd 250 do they fit the dt and ct cylinder? or does it have to be adjusted?
What makes these flaps better?
Do you have experience with vforce flaps?
Thank you for your help.
Regards daniel

VForce reed cages work best on the DT175 motors. The cage for a YZ85 will just about fit into a DT175 443 cylinder, after the cavity has been modified. That block will not fit into cylinders with the smaller reed cavity, such as the CT ones.
