74 DT360A Autolube pump output volume specs?

I have looked everywhere and cannot seem to find what the autolube pump output volumes are. I am guessing it is around 1cc at idle and 9 or 10 cc at full throttle, but that is just a guess, and not good enough for my comfort that it's working correctly.

My throttle cables and pump strokes have been adjusted and are in spec but I'd like to dot the last T and check the actual pump output. Thanks to anyone who can direct me to where this information is for this specific model. I know it's out there for other models but I can't find this one. Thank you.

When I rebuilt my 76 DT400 I had the same concerns. For that bike Yamaha says 8.8 to 9.7 cc at max throttle and .95 to 1.2 cc at idle so you are close on your thinking. These oil outputs are with 200 pump strokes. I remember thinking it was going to take forever to get 200 pump strokes and then do it again!

Thanks, that's about what is listed for the RT1 360 which makes sense. I also saw a guy on Youtube who rigged up a screwdriver bit to turn the pump, which sure beats by hand! Now all I have to do is count correctly, no distractions.

That's a good post to refer to MarkT, very handy indeed. Not sure what to do if maximum is too much or too little, but minimum is easy to alter with shims under the moving plate. Couldn't see the maximum ever being far out though. Thanks.

After all this and adjustment, bleed, etc, nothing comes our of the output line. Rats. Well it's a good thing that I checked anyway.

Gosh, that'd be very unlikely but yes good ya checked. about the only thing i can think of that wold stop it is if the miniature ball has got stuck on the seat--but once again that's unlikely as is only held by a super fine spring & they get a bit of bum fluff under the ball & gravity feed into the cylinder which is opposite to your problem. Hold the pump cable cam roller back on full stroke & wind the plastic wheel for a bit & report back. Pipe or union off at the cylinder of course, or wherever it hooks on yours--hooks on the carb on some model bikes.

If output line was dry, it does take a while to fill it up if pump is at idle... so keep that in mind. And are you seeing the plunger go up and down as you rotate the primer wheel?
