You won't be able to use a LED headlight if it's receiving an alternating current. If you want to use one, you need to find a way for it to get direct current. I wired mine in the circuit from the battery (DC) that powers the tail light, horn, etc. Running a LED on alternating current will make it look like a strobe light.
