I have a needle and seat ordered from a reputable supplier. And new plugs.
I feel best about what Iearned today. Found a brass pipe a perfect 8 mm wide (a small brake line hahaha) cut to fit bingo....local gas station had one, was maybe 5 bucks.
It ran sweet until it flooded.
Now wait for my parts and be patient I guess!!

Reading the comments and looking at your photos , there may be a few issues going on there .
Firstly your needle and seat valve need replacing ( which you have on your agenda ) ,
Secondly , if RT 325 is correct and the brass washer is missing from between the needle jet and jet setter ,
then your jet setter o ring may not be sealing correctly , affecting your running off idle ,
and likely the cause of your plugs fouling .
Lastly the floats appear to be set incorrectly , possibly in an attempt to correct the previous issue .
With all three issues correct , things should then be much improved .

Excellent thank you.
a later attempt has the floats closer to parallel. Tomorrow it all gonna come apart again so I can verify thr brass washer placement properly, and ensure I order the right needle and seat size...
much appreciated!! This is how I earn. Please check back tomorrow for update pics. And thanks again tonight I quit cleaned up and am gonna take my bride for supper

Looks like I need the 2.0 needle and seat. Pictures labeled to assist with brass washer question.

Thanks for the pics. Just thought the washer or threaded setter looked more recessed than usual but no problem.

Thank you!!
today I ordered up a new 2.0 needle and seat, a new 30 pilot jet, new jetsetter, oring, and washer (just in case), and a 150 main jet (which I learned where it was!)
the main nozzle looks okay.
I'm excited now!! Wait for parts!!
