Most rare parts are still there, in the next days I will check the parts list to figure out the missing parts.
The VIN from the bike is AT2- 605965Maybe anybody could tell me something over the factory Colour.

 from Brexitland, Werner!

If you have the correct parts manual for your bike, then the colour might well be shown in there, alongside items such as the tank, fork ears and headlight shell.

You might need a service manual to determine, from the VIN/frame number, exactly what model you have.

In both cases, you will need the European manuals. The manuals for the US models in the Tech Library on this forum will assist you with most things, but note that there are some differences between the US and other models.

It's likely a 1974 DT125E* model for Europe/UK...  model code 460.  Should be very similar to the US model 1974 DT125A

*E stood for "electric leg" aka "electric starter" outside the USA so you should have a 12 volt battery and a dynamo/starter combination.

Note that most documents and parts lists are for USA models so don't get confused...  a US DT125E is a completely different model.  You'll need to compare to the US DT125A.

Hi Mark,
Ok, I try to get one of these books.
Is there any platform to buy parts in US , not ebay e.g..
Or could you recommend any Yamaha store in US.

thx for support.

partzilla and rockymountainatv are two that stateside guys like. Neither is perfect, but look at the websites, and you can see there is a wealth of info on either one.
www.partzilla.com/
www.rockymountainatvmc.com/

Also, your fuel tank has the color and markings of a USA model 1973 CT-3, but that might also be the colors and stripe used on a European model AT, as MarkT mentioned above. The USA AT-3 had a medium blue tank with the black stripe as well as serial numbers starting with AT-1 XXXXX. USA AT-2 was gold-orange with no stripe.
Welcome to the forum. Looks like you have a lot of work ahead of you. Ask away; lots of answers here. Post pictures, too; they make it easier for everyone to understand problems and offer help.

Regarding parts, also look at CMSNL in The Netherlands - they don't have the European models on their database, but you can search for a part from a European model using the search field at the top of each of their screens.

Yambits, Sumo Rubber and Trail & Trials, all in the UK, might have some parts that you need.

Don't use any brassware out of carb rebuild kits (original jets are still available from Yamaha and Mikuni) and don't forget to replace front and rear brake shoes.

@ Gr8uncleal & Mothersbaugh

many thx for the Tipps and hints. I will check the website's you recommended.
The carburator is from Mikuni and looks original. Pictures comes during the next week.
For the Colour it looks like Mandarin Orange, Maybe I will use BMW  M2 Sunset Orange.
For the engine I have a friend of me, former Yamaha shop worker.

so far that's the news.

nice rest week to all

Hi Werner.
If you look at the task bar above, you will see TECH LIBRARY.
You will find your workshop manual in there and it's absolutly free.

Wenn Sie sich die Taskleiste oben ansehen, sehen Sie die TECH-BIBLIOTHEK.
Dort finden Sie Ihr Werkstatthandbuch und es ist absolut kostenlos.

 Regards Shyted
