Making an RT2 chain guard was created by Elpho

There have not been any chain guards for sale for a while and I cannot bring myself to pay US$150 plus shipping anyway. So I decided to make one. An old steel shelf provided the right thickness and strength of steel. Photos show progress so far. I will post a final pic later when I have the kinks smoothed out and the silver paint on.

Here is the finished chain guard ready to install. Not perfect, but it will work perfectly./

I may have contributed to the shortage of chain guards:

The CT3 chain guard will fit the RT2 and RT3 (but not the DT2 or DT3 due to the larger rear sprocket). Need to drill out the mounting holes to fit the rubber grommet and metal insert.
